A large reason for eating raw food—organic, organic, organic—is to not only nourish the body but to also boost the immune system. By eating as pesticide and chemical free as possible with all the high doses of fiber for scouring the body and vitamins and minerals for nourishing it, heavy metals can gradually be “washed” away.
